据最新报道,下一代大众辉腾将作为2019款车型于2018年在美国上市。据大众内部人士透露，该车外观设计已经完成，但大众并不急于将其替代现行版，主要是因为现行版目前在中国市场销售势头强劲。新一代辉腾将采用MLB Evo平台并搭载各种引擎，预计将包括V6插电混动（功率超过298千瓦/400马力），功率约为335千瓦/450马力的V8 TDI和顶级款搭载的W12引擎。预计该车起价约为7万美元（约合人民币43万元）。

 

Next-generation Volkswagen Phaeton reportedly pushed back to 2018

According to a recent report, the next-generation Volkswagen Phaeton will be launched in the United States in 2018 as a 2019 model.

 

Citing company insiders, Automotive News is reporting the car is virtually complete but the company isn't in a rush to replace the current model because it's still enjoying strong sales in China.

 

While the car is still a ways off, it will reportedly ride on the MLB Evo platform and be offered with a variety of engines. Nothing is official but choices are rumored to include a V6 plug-in hybrid with more than 400 bhp (298 kW), a V8 TDI with approximately 450 bhp (335 kW) and a range-topping W12 engine.

 

Previous rumors had suggested the Phaeton would move down market to battle higher-end versions of the Chrysler 300 and Ford Taurus but Automotive News is reporting it will carry a hefty price tag of approximately $70,000.
