凯迪拉克Escala概念车亮相原石滩车展

凯迪拉克在原石滩车展发布了Escala概念车,向人们展示了下一代旗舰车型CT6的设计方向。新车外观设计显示,新一代车型是在目前经典凯迪拉克设计语言基础上演进的。新车仍采用锐利线条,品牌富有特性的棱角分明外观。垂直前大灯增加了横置光源,包括细窄前大灯和新的日间行驶灯,整体营造“邪恶”造型。这款概念车与CT6基于同一平台,但经过改进后,轴距比CT6延长了近5英寸(约合127毫米)。车身宽度也进一步增加,长度增加了近6英寸(约合152毫米)。车尾采用类似奥迪A7的掀背车设计。车厢内科技含量很高,不过,与现在很多车厂喜欢用抬头显示来取代传统仪表不同,Escala依旧维持了现在的仪表和中控格局,但全面取消了机械模块,取而代之的是三块尺寸不等的曲面OLED显示屏,上面集成了多媒体、行驶以及通讯等主要数据信息,而且整个座舱也尽可能减少了物理按键,电子智能化程度超过其他车型。车厂对于追求舒适行驶性能的后排乘客提供了舒适,轻松的环境,采用更精细内饰材质和纯手工装配。该车动力系统为一台新的4.2升V8双涡轮引擎,这台引擎未来会最终应用于量产车上。
 
Cadillac Escala Concept hints at future design language
Cadillac has publicly revealed the Escala Concept in Pebble Beach, previewing a large flagship sedan that will eventually slot above the new CT6.
 
The Escala showcases the next evolutionary shift in Cadillac's design language, stepping away from sharp edges without completely eliminating the brand's characteristic angular appearance. Vertical lighting is now complemented with horizontal elements, including thin headlights and new DRLs that aim for a 'sinister' look.
 
The Escala is based on the same platform that underpins the CT6, modified to stretch the wheelbase by nearly five inches. It is also wider and around six inches longer than the CT6, with a hatchback profile similar to that of the Audi A7.
 
The interior also showcases the brand's vision for future vehicles. Designers focused on technology up front, with three curved OLED screens layered in front of the driver. For owners who prefer to ride in the back, the rear zone delivers a more relaxing atmosphere where occupants can appreciate refinements in materials and craftsmanship.
 
Under the hood, the concept employs a new 4.2-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Still in prototype form, the mill will eventually be used in future production models.
