RM Design设计师Remco Meulendijk近日根据捷豹刚刚发布的2015款XE绘制了Sportbrake版本数字合成图。捷豹XE项目主管米勒（Nick Miller）近日暗示，未来将推迟出XE的多个衍生车型，其中旅行车很可能会被命名为“Sportbrake”。而从这张合成图看，该车与XE S采用相同设计，只是尾部采用了旅行车造型，行李箱空间更大。预计该车行李箱容积将达到500立升，比XE轿车的455立升增加了40多立升。除了轿车和旅行车，XE系列还将包括轿跑车、敞篷车和轿车长轴距版本。

 

Jaguar XE S Sportbrake rendered, will likely happen

Remco Meulendijk of RM Design has digitally imagined the recently unveiled 2015 Jaguar XE in the more practical Sportbrake guise.

 

Currently being showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the XE is a compact sedan billed as a 3-Series fighter and chances are it will be joined in the years to come by a wagon version to better compete with its German rivals. The XE's program director Nick Miller has already dropped a few hints about a lot of extra derivatives, including a wagon version which will likely be commercialized with the "Sportbrake" moniker.

 

Seen here is RM Design's vision of an XE Sportbrake in the hotter S guise which would feature virtually the same design as the sedan with the obvious exception of the rear end which would boast a longer overhang granting a bigger trunk. The XE Sedan offers 455 liters so a Sportbrake version will probably have somewhere in the region of 500 liters, representing 40 liters less than the bigger XF Sportbrake.

 

Aside from sedan and wagon body styles, the XE range is expected to grow to include coupe, cabrio versions as well as a long wheelbase sedan.
