Volkswagen Sharan facelift starts at €32,000 in Germany

The facelifted Volkswagen Sharan is now available on order in Germany from €32,000.

 

It made its public debut back in March at the Geneva Motor Show with an overhauled engine lineup meeting Euro 6 regulations and up to 15% more efficient. Customers can now place an order for the people carrier with a 150 PS 1.4 TSI or a punchier 220 PS 2.0 TSI while those who prefer diesels can get either a 1.6 TDI with 115 PS or a 2.0 TDI offered with 150 PS and 184 PS. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard but at an additional cost there's an optional six-speed DSG available for all units, with the exception of the 1.6 TDI.

 

The styling revisions have been kept down to a minimum, but they did add new LED headlights, Jakarta alloy wheels and two new body paints called Crimson Red and Hudson Bay Blue. Inside the cabin there are revised 5- and 6.5-inch infotainment systems with support for MirrorLink which means you will be able to hook up your Android or Apple smartphone.

 

All versions come with standard Automatic Post-Collision Braking System and for more money buyers can add adaptive cruise control (ACC), blind spot monitor system and a third generation Park Assist.

 

Volkswagen is offering Ocean and Beach special editions that come with electric sliding doors, 16-inch rims, lane assist, ACC, Park Assist and those two fresh paints we mentioned along with other minor cosmetic tweaks.
