宾利在日内瓦车展发布了飞驰Spur V8 S高性能版本，该车搭载一台4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎，功率388千瓦/521马力，扭矩680牛米。由于动力更强劲，车辆百公里加速时间比Spur V8缩短0.3秒至4.9秒，最高时速306公里。除了动力强劲，该车还配备了电子稳定控制系统以提升驾驶乐趣。其悬挂也进行了优化，反应更灵敏，因此操控性也超过Spur V8。在外观上，Spur V8 S配备了新的20英寸轮圈，可选装21英寸轮圈，车头采用黑色矩阵格栅，车尾配备黑色抛光散流器。车厢内采用黑色钢琴漆实木装饰，专属双色内饰。该车将于今年夏季上市。

 

Bentley Flying Spur V8 S debuts in Geneva with extra punch

Bentley is showcasing at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show the Flying Spur V8 in the newly added S specification.

 

The people from Crewe have a lot to show these days in Geneva as aside from the facelifted Mulsanne range and the one-off Grand Limousine Mulliner, they also have a new member of the Flying Spur family. It’s a hotter “S” version that uses an evolution of the biturbo V8 4.0-liter engine now packing 521 horsepower (388 kilowatts) and 502 pound-feet (680 newton meters).

 

The stronger engine helps the car complete the journey to 62 mph (100 kph) in 4.9 seconds which makes it 0.3 seconds quicker than the non-S V8 model. Give it enough room to show its full acceleration potential and the vehicle will be able to reach a maximum speed of 190 mph (306 kph.)

 

There’s more to the “S” version than just a bump in output as Bentley’s engineers also fiddled with the Electronic Stability Control system to make the car more fun to drive. The suspension has been optimized as well and is now more responsive than before, so handling should be superior compared to the regular Flying Spur V8.

 

In terms of visual changes, the S model is further distinguished by new 20-inch (optional 21-inch) wheels, a black matrix front grille, and a glossy black rear diffuser. It also brings along some changes inside where there are now piano black wood veneers, special two-tone upholstery, and other similar minor tweaks.

 

Demonstrating the “sporting side of luxury”, the Bentley Flying Spur V8 S will start reaching customers in the summer.
