福特在日内瓦车展发布了史上动力最强嘉年华——嘉年华ST200。这款针对欧洲市场的ST200搭载一台1.6升四缸EcoBoost涡轮增压引擎，功率147千瓦/200马力，扭矩290牛米。该引擎还提供瞬时超增加功能，可在20秒内将功率提升11千瓦/15马力，扭矩增加30牛米，进一步提升性能。由于动力提升，ST200百公里加速时间仅需6.7秒，比ST快0.2秒，最高时速从220公里增至230公里。除了动力增加，该车还配备专属风暴灰色涂装，哑光黑色17英寸合金轮圈，红色刹车卡钳。车厢内配备发光侧踏板，部分真皮Recaro前排座椅，银色对比色缝线和专属安全带。福特将于6月开始投产嘉年华ST200，随后很快上市。

 

Ford Fiesta ST200 salutes Geneva as most powerful Fiesta ever

Ford of Europe is launching a more powerful iteration of the Fiesta ST in Geneva where the Blue Oval company is displaying the ST200 model.

 

The closest thing to a full-blown RS this generation Fiesta will ever get, the ST200 for Europe is labeled as the “most powerful production Fiesta ever.” It gets the familiar turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine from the EcoBoost family which in this new application delivers 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm) of torque.

 

There’s also a temporary overboost function which will give the hot supermini an extra 15 PS (11 kW) and 22 lb-ft (30 Nm) for up to 20 seconds, thus improving performance even further.

 

Thanks to the extra punch, the Fiesta ST200 will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) sprint in 6.7 seconds, thus making it 0.2 seconds quicker than the regular ST model. Top speed has also increased a little bit, from 137 mph (220 kph) to a very respectable 143 mph (230 kph.)

 

Aside from packing more muscle, the hottest Fiesta ever also gets a bespoke Storm Grey paint, matte black 17-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. On the inside it benefits from illuminated sill plates, partial leather Recaro front seats, silver contrast stitching, and unique seat belts with silver detailing.

 

Production of the Ford Fiesta ST200 is planned to begin in June and deliveries will kick off shortly thereafter.
