路特斯在日内瓦车展发布了Elise Cup 250，该车将替代Elise Cup 220，新车有一系列升级。与老款车相比，新车重量降低21公斤至931公斤，但搭载的1.8升引擎功率增加26马力至181千瓦/243马力，扭矩250牛米。由于功率增加，重量降低，Elise Cup 250 0-96公里/小时加速时间仅需3.9秒，最高时速248公里，成为速度最快Elise车型。路特斯为这款车配备了Bilstein运动减震器和艾巴赫弹簧，搭配双插臂悬挂和前轮16英寸，后轮17英寸轻质锻造合金轮圈以及优科豪马195/50/16和225/45/17轮胎和AP Racing前轮双活塞和后轮Brembo单活塞卡钳。该车将于下月上市，每年仅限量生产200辆，路特斯还将推出Elise Cup 250敞篷版，可选装硬顶。

 

Lotus Elise Cup 250 drops by Geneva as fastest Elise ever

Lotus is replacing the Elise Cup 220 in Geneva with the new Elise Cup 250 that brings a series of improvements.

 

Compared to its predecessor, the new model is not only 46 pounds (21 kilograms) lighter, but also 26 horsepower stronger. It now tips the scales at just 2,053 lbs (931 kg) and delivers 243 hp (181 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) thanks to the upgraded supercharged 1.8-liter engine.

 

The added power corroborated with a significant diet have enabled the upgraded Elise to run the 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) sprint in 3.9 seconds and max out at 154 mph (248 kph.) It’s the fastest road-legal Elise ever made and has lapped the company’s Hethel test track in only 1 minute and 34 seconds.

 

Lotus has fitted the revised model with Bilstein sports dampers and Eibach springs that work together with a double wishbone suspension while the car sits on 16-inch front & 17-inch rear lightweight forged alloy wheels. These are shod in Yokohama 195/50/16 and 225/45/17 tires backed by AP Racing two-piston front and Brembo single-piston rear calipers.

It’s bound to go on sale next month and production will be limited to only 200 cars each year. Lotus will sell the Elise Cup 250 as a roadster, but an optional hard top will be offered as well.
