丰田在日内瓦车展发布了RAV4 Sapphire Hybrid概念车。该车采用蓝色涂装，车身同色前后保险杠，额外增加的镀铬装饰，专属20英寸合金轮圈。车厢内改变相当有限，包括黑色真皮装饰和蓝色对比色缝线，黑色钢琴漆内饰，混动蓝装饰件，镀铬装饰件，三辐方向盘，可调后排座椅和信息娱乐系统。该车搭载的混动系统包括一台2.5升四缸阿特金森循环引擎，一台电机，镍氢电池和电控CVT变速器，综合输出功率197马力。车辆百公里加速时间8.3秒，百公里油耗4.9升，每公里二氧化碳排放量115克。该车不会投产，但丰田表示，计划推出采用车身同色部件的新车型。

 

Toyota RAV4 Sapphire Hybrid concept unveiled

Toyota has introduced the RAV4 Hybrid Sapphire concept at the Geneva Motor Show.

 

Dressed in exclusive blue paint, the one-off model has a familiar design but is distinguished by body color bumpers, additional chrome trim, and unique 20-inch alloy wheels. Toyota says the latter changes give the crossover a "more assertive and premium look."

 

Interior changes are fairly limited but the concept comes nicely equipped with black leather upholstery that features blue contrast stitching. Designers also installed piano black trim, Hybrid Blue accents, and chrome flourishes. Other highlights include a three-spoke steering wheel, an adjustable rear seat, and an infotainment system.

 

Like the standard model, the concept has a hybridized powertrain that consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine, an electric motor, a nickel-metal hydride battery, and an electric continuously variable transmission. This enables the model to produce a combined output of 197 horsepower.

 

In terms of performance, drivers can expect to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 8.3 seconds. More importantly, the model consumes 4.9 liters per 100 km and has CO2 of 115 grams per kilometer.

 

The RAV4 Hybrid Sapphire concept won't be going into production but Toyota has announced plans to offer a new variant with additional body color components.
