Alfa Romeo Giulia & Giulia Ti headed for New York

Alfa Romeo has announced plans to stage the North American debut of the entry-level Giulia and Giulia Ti at the New York Auto Show.

 

Set to be sold alongside the high-performance Giulia Quadrifoglio, the entry-level variants have a familiar design but feature more conventional bumpers, less extreme side skirts, and a dual exhaust system.

 

Moving on to the interior, drivers will find leather seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and dark gray oak, light walnut, or brushed aluminum trim. The model also has a 7-inch driver information display, a keyless entry system, and an "Alfa-tainment" system with either a 6.5- or 8.8-inch display.

 

A variety of different options will be available including a Harman Kardon audio system as well as Sport, Luxury, and Performance packages. The Giulia Ti can also be equipped with an optional Alfa Active Suspension with adjustable dampers.

 

Both models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 276 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional Alfa Q4 all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in less than 5.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 149 mph.
