Euro-spec Honda NSX more expensive than Porsche 911 Turbo
Honda has revealed the prices for its NSX sports car on the European market.
Honda is busy with its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show but this hasn’t stopped the company from announcing the European pricing information for the NSX model. In Germany the car comes with a starting price of $196,330 (€180,000), which makes it slightly more expensive than the Porsche 911 Turbo (€174,669).
The situation is nearly the same in the United Kingdom where the NSX will be offered to customers for at least $180,400 (￡130,000) against $177,147 (￡126,925) for the 911 Turbo.
Starting from April, Honda will open order books in Europe that will be the leading export region for sales of the NSX. The model will be sold through a limited network of authorized dealers in “key European locations.” Deliveries are expected to start this autumn.
The US prices of the hybrid sports car start at $156,000 for the base model and rise to $220,000 for the top model.
