VW Golf SportWagen Limited Edition announced

Volkswagen of America has introduced the new Golf SportWagen Limited Edition.

 

Designed to slot between the entry-level S and mid-level SE variants, the Limited Edition model has a panoramic glass sunroof, additional chrome trim, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The car also gains heated window washer nozzles and "Limited" badging on the front fenders.

 

Interior changes are limited but drivers will find leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, and a MIB II infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The model also comes standard with a KESSY keyless entry system and a push button ignition. Lastly, there's an assortment of driver assistance features including adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitor, and a forward collision warning system with an autonomous emergency braking function.

 

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which enables the wagon to return an EPA-estimated 35 miles per gallon highway.

 

The Volkswagen Golf SportWagen Limited Edition will arrive at dealerships later this month and pricing starts at $24,995.
