Set to go on sale later this year, the GLC43 has a familiar design but is distinguished by a sportier front fascia with a diamond radiator grille and a chrome splitter. Designers also installed black mirror caps, a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system, and 20-inch AMG lightweight alloy wheels with a two-tone finish.

 

Interior changes are fairly limited but buyers will find a multifunction sports steering wheel, sports seats, and an AMG instrument cluster with a checkered flag motif.

 

A biturbo 3.0-liter V6 engine resides under the hood and produces 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.

 

Besides the featuring a powerful engine, the crossover has been equipped with a high-performance braking system, a sport-tuned steering system, and an AMG Ride Control sport suspension.
