现行版C3毕加索是从08年开始上市的，因此雪铁龙准备推出新一代车型就丝毫不奇怪了。最近谍照记者拍到了新车测试照片，从照片看，新车将将有很大变化，外观更时尚，与C4毕加索有更多共同之处。后者由于采用更大胆设计而在同级车型中表现出色，预计类似设计也会出现在C3毕加索上。目前还不清楚，新车是否会安装C4 Cactus的“空气保护垫”，但从车身侧面增加的伪装看，还是很有可能采用这项配置的。另外，雪铁龙表示，将为更多车型配备充气塑料面板，因此新一代C3毕加索也很有可能成为候选车型。该车将与标致208和第三代欧宝Meriva共享相同内部结构。至于动力系统，将包括标致-雪铁龙旗下三缸和四缸涡轮增压汽油和柴油引擎，搭配六速手动或自动变速箱。预计雪铁龙将在10月开幕的巴黎车展发布新一代C3毕加索，随后该车将很快在欧洲上市。

 

2017 Citroen C3 Picasso spotted with funkier design

The current Citreon C3 Picasso has been on sale since 2008, so it comes as no surprise the French are getting ready for an all-new model.

 

PSA’s petite MPV is about to receive a new generation and by the looks of it the design is about to go through some extensive changes. The new one will look funkier and chances are it will have a lot in common with its bigger brother, the C4 Picasso. The latter stands out in its segment thanks to a bold design and we expect the same thing to happen with the C3 Picasso.

 

It remains to be seen whether Citroen will install those air bumps as seen in the C4 Cactus, but it could actually happen judging by that extra camouflage on the sides of this prototype. In addition, we heard Citroen saying a while back that it wants to put those air-filled plastic panels on more models, so the new C3 Picasso is likely a candidate.

 

As far as the technical platform is concerned, it will share its underpinnings with the Peugeot 208 supermini and the upcoming third-gen Opel Meriva. The engine lineup will consist of PSA’s turbocharged three- and four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines teamed up with six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes.

 

Expect to see the all-new Citroen C3 Picasso make its official public debut at the beginning of October during the Paris Motor Show before going on sale in Europe shortly thereafter.
