The 2016 Honda Civic Coupe will be priced from $19,050 when it goes on sale in the United States on March 15th.
Originally unveiled at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the redesigned Civic Coupe has a stylish and upscale design that has been praised by critics and consumers alike. Notable highlights include projector-beam headlights, muscular wheel arches, and a sloping roof which tapers down to meet distinctive LED taillights.
Moving on to the interior, drivers will find soft-touch plastics, higher-quality seat fabrics, and a more spacious cabin with an additional five inches of rear seat legroom. Even the entry-level model comes nicely equipped with an automatic climate control system, power windows / locks, and a rearview camera. Other highlights include a four-speaker audio system and an infotainment system with a five-inch display.
Higher end variants offer heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a 7-inch Display Audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability. The range-topping Touring variant goes one step further as it boasts leather seats, a premium audio system, and GPS navigation.
Under the hood, two different engines will be available. The entry-level LX and LX-P variants are powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. It can be connected to either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission.
Moving up to the $22,300 Civic Coupe EX rewards buyers with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 174 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. It is connected exclusively to a continuously variable transmission.
