玛莎拉蒂内部人士近日向外界透露了两张2018款Kubang图片，这款基于吉普Renegade的新车定位在Levante之下。这款紧凑型跨界车外观非常像缩小尺寸版的Levante，据内部人士透露，该车只提供四轮驱动。玛莎拉蒂计划为该车搭载2.0升四缸汽油和柴油引擎并搭配九速自动变速器。预计该车起价3.5万欧元（约合人民币25.69万元），提供两种版本。其中顶级款“Zegna”配备真皮内饰和半自动驾驶系统。另外，车厂还计划于2019年推出纯电动版本“e-Kubang”，该车售价约为5万欧元（约合人民币36.7万元）。这款纯电动B级跨界车据说续航里程至少达到804公里，搭载双电机，综合输出功率达到300马力。在该车生命周期后半程，车厂还将提供一款旗舰级车型——Kubang MC Stradale。该车将搭载一台4.7升V8引擎，功率达到600马力。不过该车将采用后轮驱动并搭配七速手动变速器，百公里加速时间不到4秒。
2018 Maserati Kubang leaked
It’s not due until 2018, but a Maserati insider contacted us the other day and sent these two images showing the company’s second crossover which will slot underneath the Levante. It’s based on the Jeep Renegade and will be sold as the “Kubang” as a nod to the namesake concepts from 2003 and 2011.
The subcompact crossover looks pretty much like a downsized Levante and according to our insider it will be available only with a four-wheel drive system. We also managed to find out Maserati has plans to sell the 2018 Kubang at first exclusively with four-cylinder 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines teamed up to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The company with the trident logo is targeting a starting price of around €35,000 and will offer the Kubang in two trim levels. The range-topping “Zegna” version is set to adopt a premium leather upholstery and from what we’ve heard it will benefit from a semi-autonomous driving system.
Interestingly, there will also be a pure electric derivative programmed to join the range in 2019 and will be sold as the “e-Kubang.” This one will obviously be more expensive and should kick off at approximately €50,000. The all-electric B-segment crossover is said to have a range of at least 500 miles (804 kilometers) and will be powered by dual electric motors pushing out a combined 300 horsepower.
Later during the model’s life cycle, a flagship Kubang MC Stradale will join the range with a mighty 4.7-liter V8 engine delivering approximately 600 horsepower. All those ponies will be delivered to the rear axle through a seven-speed manual gearbox, enabling the hardcore Kubang hit 62 mph (100 kph) in less than four seconds.
