The brand new 2017 Lincoln Continental carries a starting price of $45,485 once you factor in the $925 destination charges.

 

With 40,000 potential buyers patiently waiting to find out pricing details, Lincoln has finally decided to spill the beans and tell the whole world how much it is asking for the 2017 Continental. The entry-level Premiere trim kicks off at $45,485 (including destination), followed by Select at $48,440, Reserve at $54,840, and the range-topping Black Label at $63,840.

 

As far as engines are concerned, the Premiere is stuck with the 3.7-liter V6 which also comes as standard on the Select, but on the latter it can be replaced by the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 for an extra $2,250. The Reserve and the Black Label have the 2.7-liter as standard, but these trims can be optionally fitted with the new 400-hp, 3.0-liter V6 if you are willing to spend an additional $3,265. Regardless of engine or trim selection, Lincoln is providing an optional all-wheel drive for $2,000.

 

Depending on the trim you go for, Lincoln has several optional packages. For example, the Select Plus ($1,255) for the base model brings the SYNC3 infotainment system and blind-spot monitoring. The other three trim levels can be specified with an optional Climate Pack worth $695 which encompasses rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.

 

Also for the Select, Reserve, and Black Label trims is the Technology Package which will bump the price by $3,105. In return you’ll get adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, and enhanced active park assist which might come in handy given the car’s sheer size.

 

If you really want to go all out, there’s a Rear-Seat Pack priced at $4,300 for the Reserve and Black Label trims. It adds heated, cooled, multi-contour rear seats, panoramic sunroof, and inflatable rear seatbelts. Those with deeper pockets can opt for the Luxury Package available for $5,000 on the Continental Reserve which gains a 19-speaker Revel sound system and LED headlights.

 

If you would rather get individual options rather than opting for one of the available packages, Lincoln is asking $1,500 for the 30-way adjustable “Perfect Position” seats. The aforementioned panoramic sunroof is an extra $1,750 and you can pick a set of 20-inch wheels for $750. Other goodies on the menu include a Revel stereo for $1,130 and a CD player for $335.

 

The folks over at Autoblog did the math and they say the most expensive 2017 Lincoln Continental money can buy costs $82,400.
