捷豹F-Type是车厂目前最老的车型，不过该车很快将进行改款。最近谍照记者首次在纽伯格林赛道拍到了这辆原型车，不过整个车身都进行了伪装。由于目前仍处于早期测试阶段，因此很难判断捷豹准备对这款车进行怎样的改款。但仔细看会注意到该车采用了新的前大灯和LED日间行驶灯，略微改款的格栅和前保险杠部分不同的进气口。捷豹极有可能对车辆的气动布局进行优化并重塑进气口。在2013年上市的现行版F-Type与XK敞篷车基于同一平台，不过下一代车型将采用全新平台。这意味着这辆改款车型只是对外观进行小修小改，同时动力系统也将稍作改动。该车预计将于明年底上市。现行版F-Type功率最强的版本SVR搭载一台5.0升V8引擎，功率423千瓦/575马力，扭矩699牛米。

 

Jaguar F-Type spied wearing its first-ever updated skin

The Jaguar F-Type is currently the oldest model in the British company's lineup and soon it will receive a facelift that will make it a little bit more desirable for customers. This is the very first time a prototype of the model is caught testing on the Nurburgring, wearing full-body camouflage.

 

At this early stage of testing it’s pretty hard to say what Jaguar is preparing for its sporty model, but under a close inspection we noticed new headlights with LED daytime running lights, slightly revised grille, and different air intakes on the front bumper. Most likely, Jaguar will bring optimized aerodynamics for the car and the reshaped intakes are the result of the process.

 

On sale from 2013, the F-Type is based on the platform of the XK convertible and the manufacturer will wait until the next generation of the sports car to change the architecture. That means the refreshed coupe will likely come with mostly visual tweaks and, probably, slightly retuned engines. Don't expect to see it on the road before the end of next year.

 

Currently, the most powerful production F-Type is the SVR variant that has a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 575 horsepower (423 kilowatts) and 516 pound-feet (699 newton meters) of torque.
