跟据中国乘用车协会公布的数据，4月中国乘用车产量为1754000辆，比3月下降14.2%，但比去年同期增长6.7%。同一时期，乘用车销量为1638000辆，比3月下降11.1%，但比去年4月增长8.1%。今年前四个月，乘用车产量为7191000辆，比去年同期增长7.7%，销量为7081000辆，同比增长9%。全国乘用车市场信息联席会副秘书长崔东树表示，4月国内汽车销量降幅超过预期。上月中国销量前10名车厂分别为一汽大众、上海大众、上海通用、北汽现代、长安、上汽通用五菱、东风日产、长城汽车、长安福特和一汽丰田。与3月相比，一汽大众、上海大众和上海通用4月销量仍位居三甲，而上通用五菱降至第六位，北汽现代升至第四位。4月轿车销量为872000辆，比3月下降9.7%，比去年四月增长4.5%，SUV四月销量为599600辆，比3月下降9.7%，比去年4月增长36.3%。MPV销量为166400辆，比3月下降21.6%，比去年4月增长2.7%。SUV和MPV销量的增长促进了中国汽车销量总体增长，而轿车市场也正在回暖。此外，今年前四个月，国内豪华车销量增长17%，豪华SUV和B级豪华轿车销量的增长进一步支撑了豪华车市场增长。

 

China Passenger Car Association：China auto sales fall below expectation in April

According to China Passenger Car Association, the production of strictly defined passenger vehicles nationwide in China stood at 1,754,000 units, down by 14.2% against this March while up by 6.7% against last April. In the meantime, China has sold 1,638,000 passenger vehicles, down by 11.1% against this March while up by 8.1% against last April. For the first four months of 2016, the production of strictly defined passenger vehicles totaled 7,191,000 units, up by 7.7% compared against the same period last year while the sales of that totaled 7,081,000 units, up by 9%. Cui Dongshu, the general secretary of China Passenger Car Association, concluded that China auto sales fall below expectation this April.

 

This April, the top 10 manufacturers by sales in China also witnessed some changes. According to China Passenger Car Association, the top 10 manufacturers by sales in China are FAW VW, SAIC VW, SAIC GM, BAIC Hyundai, Changan, SGMW, Dongfeng Nissan, Great Wall Motor, Changan Ford and FAW Toyota. Compared with this March, FAW VW, SAIC VW and SAIC GM still ranked the top 3 in April, while SGMW fell to No.6, BAIC Hyundai went up to No.4.

 

According to China Passenger Car Association, the sales of sedans stood at 872,000 units this April, down by 9.7% against this March and 4.5% against last April, while the sales of SUVs stood at 599,600 units, down by 9.7% against this March but up by 36.3% against last April. Besides, the sales of MPVs stood at 166,400 units, down by 21.6% against this March but up by 2.7% against last April.

 

It’s observed that SUVs and MPVs have served as the main drivers to boost sales in China’s auto market and the sedan segment has also been warming up.

 

Besides, the sales of luxury models in China has increased by 17% for the first 4 months of 2016, with luxury SUVs and Class-B luxury sedans supporting as the main sales drivers.
