2017 Chevrolet Trax Hits Showrooms This Fall, Starting at $21,895

The restyled 2017 Chevrolet Trax subcompact SUV is bound for Chevrolet dealerships this fall with a starting price of $21,895.

The price includes an $895 destination charge and reflects a $700 increase over the base 2016 Trax.

The midrange 2017 Trax Premier model with front-wheel drive, which replaces the LTZ model, starts at $26,995, and the top-of-the-line Trax Premier with all-wheel drive is priced at $28,495. Both prices include the $895 destination fee.

Major changes to the 2017 Trax include an all-new front end, a new premium cabin with an updated instrument panel, a new infotainment system with optional Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and more optional safety equipment.

The Trax Premier is equipped with LED lighting and new 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The carryover engine in the 2017 Trax is a 138-horsepower Ecotec 1.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
