起亚不久前在死谷测试了带有伪装的秀尔改款车。最近该车在韩国发布，新车前后保险杠都进行了轻度改款，车头配备新的HID大灯和新的LED日间行驶灯。车尾配备的LED尾灯组也进行了改款。新车还配备了新的18英寸合金轮圈并可选装Style Up套装以进一步扮靓新车。车厢内没有明显变化，但增加了更多选装内饰，同时韩版车可提供新的两种色调褐色内饰。预计2017款美版车也提供相同幅度的内外装调整，起亚美国公司已经宣布，新车将搭载取自福瑞迪5的1.6升引擎，功率150千瓦/201马力，扭矩264牛米。预计美版车将在今年11月洛杉矶车展亮相，随后将于今年底或明年初上市。

 

Kia Soul facelifted in South Korea

Now we pretty much know what was hiding underneath that camouflage applied by Kia on a Soul prototype it was testing last month in the Death Valley. The front and rear bumpers have been slightly revised and we also notice new HID headlamps with different LED daytime running lights. At the back, the LED taillight graphics have also gone through a minor revision, as did the bumper which has received a light nip and tuck. Rounding off the exterior tweaks are the two fresh sets of 18-inch alloy wheels along with an optional Style Up package to spice things up.

 

There’s not much going on inside the cabin, but we do know Kia will extend the array of trim options and will offer the KDM-spec Soul with a new two-tone brown finish, although we’d go for livelier colors to match the car’s funkiness.

 

The same array of exterior and interior updates should be carried over on the 2017MY Soul in U.S. specification. Kia Motors America has already announced the crossover will be turbocharged this winter and it will likely get the 1.6-liter from the Forte5 with 201 horsepower (150 kilowatts) and 195 pound-feet (264 Newton-meters) of torque.

 

Look for the U.S. version’s debut to take place in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show, with sales to kick off before the year’s end or early 2017.
