2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Earns 5-Star Safety Rating From Federal Government

The all-new 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback earned the highest five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

 

On sale this fall at Honda dealerships, the 2017 Civic Hatchback received five stars in the front, side and rollover crash tests.

 

It shares the same platform with the 2017 Honda Civic sedan and coupe. Those versions also received a five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA.

Standard safety equipment on the 2017 Civic includes stability control, antilock brakes, side airbags, side curtain airbags and a rearview camera.

 

The 2017 Civic Hatchback will be offered with the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistance technologies, including collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control. Honda Sensing is standard on the Civic Hatchback Sport Touring model.
