三菱近日在巴黎车展正式发布了GT-PHEV SUV概念车。这款高端日系SUV轿跑车是下一代欧蓝德的概念版车型，而后者将在近期发布。该车设计采用“形式追随功能”理念。突出亮点包括“Dynamic Shield”前格栅，配备自动开闭格栅，可进一步降低风阻，同时为插电混动输送更多空气。车身侧面采用肌肉感线条结合平行的引擎盖和低垂的车顶线条，诠释了“将坚固和稳定的外观设计转化成让驾驶员和乘客安心的感觉这一理念”。车厢内采用极简主义布局，水平设置仪表板提供了向前的全景视野，创造了空间感和开放感觉，有助于在视觉上获得更宽敞的感觉。仪表板进一步扩展，与中控台结合在一起，设置了多个旋钮和全地形行驶选择模式。该车搭载了新的插电混动系统，包括一台2.5升汽油引擎和三台电机，其中一台设置在前部，另外两台在尾部，另有一台设置在地板下的25千瓦时高能量密度，高容量电池组。三菱借助降低车重提升燃油经济性，同时利用自动开闭格栅降低风阻，同时，车辆配备在速度感应式自适应悬挂控制行驶高度。
Mitsubishi GT-PHEV SUV coupe concept debuts in Paris
Mitsubishi has officially taken the wraps off its Grand Tourer PHEV Concept at the Paris Motor Show. The “high-end Japanese SUV coupé for a new automotive experience” serves as a sneak peak of the next generation Outlander, expected to arrive in the near future.
The study is the third prototype model to follow the “Form follows Function” design philosophy. The design is dominated by the company’s Dynamic Shield front grille, which precisely manages the energy achieved by adaptive grille shutters that operate to reduce drag while optimally managing cooling of the PHEV system.
The side profile reveals muscular lines with horizontal hood and sharply sloping roofline, visually conveying “the idea of a solid and stable vehicle translating into a feeling of security for the driver and passengers.”
This time we can take a look at the interior too, which features a minimalistic layout. With this concept Mitsubishi is introducing what it calls a horizontal dashboard, which provides “a forward panoramic vision, creating an airy and open feel which will visually widen the interior space.” The dash extends to a massive center console, which accommodates the rotary shift and terrain selectors.
As announced before, the concept is powered by a new plug-in hybrid electric system.The system includes a 2.5-liter petrol engine, supported by three electric motors, one fitted at the front and two at the rear, and a 25-kilowatthour high energy density, next-generation high-capacity battery package, mounted under the floor.
Mitsubishi engineers have improved the efficiency of the model by reducing the weight of the concept compared to the current production Outlander PHEV. Also, the drag reduction has been lowered through the use of the aforementioned automatic grille shutters, while the vehicle’s speed-sensitive adaptive suspension controls the ride height.
