国外一名艺术家根据丰田凯美瑞先前谍照以及NASCAR赛车版本绘制了下一代凯美瑞合成图，让人看到了伪装下面的车身细节。新车最显著变化是更具侵略性前脸，无论是否喜欢它，新车外观都很惊艳。新车的前引擎盖向下倾斜，多条隆起的线条突出了肌肉感。纺锤形格栅让人联想到雷克萨斯车型。格栅两侧的进气口设计很霸气，锐利的前大灯给人一种果断自信的感觉。车身部分外观独特，类似四门轿跑车，车尾了四排气尾管。除了全新设计外，新一代凯美瑞还将搭载全新引擎，包括入门级搭载的2.5升四缸引擎，它采用阿特金森循环技术，进一步提升了燃油经济性。此外还将提供一台2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎。目前不清楚是否有V6引擎，但预计丰田将继续提供混动系统。当然，上述一切说法只是猜测。现在能肯定的是，新车将作为2018款车型上市，预计将于明年初亮相，或许丰田会选择1月的北美车展发布新车。

Is this what the new Toyota Camry will look like?
Based on some previous spy shots, and a leaked photo of the NASCAR racing version, one artist went to work on rendering his vision of the new Camry, given the vague detail available to us under all that camo. The most noticeable new feature being the aggressive front end — a far cry from the Camry we’ve come to know and love/hate.

The hood slopes down to form a point, and exposes a gaping grille almost reminiscent of its Lexus siblings. Its saving grace, a set of vents on either side that offset the new fascia, and some sloped headlights giving it a more assertive appearance. The rear also gives off a unique look, similar to a four-door coupe, and features quad exhaust tips.

Apart from an all-new design, reports point to a pair of new engines as well. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder would likely be offered as the base, running on the Atkinson cycle to increase fuel economy, while a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder option will likely also be offered. No word on whether the V6 will carry over, but Toyota is expected to continue to offer the hybrid powertrain.

Of course, it’s all still speculation at this point. What we do know for sure is that the new Camry is expected to go on sale for the 2018 model year, with a debut expected early in 2017, possibly at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Only time will tell.
