Volvo originally unveiled the V90 Cross Country a couple of months ago during its own event, but it’s only now at the Los Angeles Auto Show where the versatile midsize wagon is receiving its public debut taking into account the Geely-owned marque did not attend the Paris Motor Show in October. Perhaps the only criticism the car is facing is the lack of larger engines since the Swedes are going to sell it exclusively with four-cylinder units, just like they are doing with the other cars from the 90 series.

Compared to the regular model, the V90 Cross Country version sits 2.4 inches (60 millimeters) higher and benefits from some extra plastic cladding to protect the lovely body while tackling difficult terrains. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same as the regular wagon, albeit the bumpers look a tad different and there are some subtle changes on the inside as well.

In terms of pricing, the cheapest version money can buy in United States is going to set you back $55,300 MSRP and it should go on sale in the months to come.
