大众上周刚刚宣判了CC的死刑，马上，新车合成图就曝光了，新车将被命名为“Arteon”。从合成图看，新车外观很时尚，其造型类似四门快背车。它采用无边框车窗，其定位高于帕萨特。其最终量产版外观类似大众在去年日内瓦车展发布的Sport Coupe Concept GTE概念车。Arteon不仅定位更高端，外观也比帕萨特更具吸引力，它采用向下倾斜的更顺滑车顶，营造类似轿跑车的侧面轮廓。新车与老款CC最大不同是采用了更实用的顶部铰合尾门，从而创造一个更大的储物空间。由于该车定位更高，因此成本也更高，内装也更突出高档化风格，采用更好内饰材质和更多豪华配置。不过，该车传动系统则与帕萨特共享，而且大众很有可能只提供顶配版本。在明年三月日内瓦车展发布之后，该车将于夏季上市。

VW Arteon heading to Geneva to replace CC

It was only last week when Volkswagen announced the CC’s demise and now the peeps from Wolfsburg are providing an early look at its successor. The new generation is bringing a name change as VW has decided to drop the “CC” moniker and replace it with “Arteon.”

Already looking quite stylish, the Arteon will take the shape of a four-door fastback with frameless windows and is going to be positioned above the Passat in VW’s lineup. The production car was actually previewed last year at the Geneva Motor Show by the sleek Sport Coupe Concept GTE.

The Arteon will basically be a more attractive Passat with a sloped roofline to create a more coupe-like profile. There is going to be one big difference between the old one and the new rebranded model, as at the back it will gain a more practical top-hinged tailgate providing access to what is being described as a “huge boot.”

Since it will be positioned above the regular Passat, the Arteon will cost more and will likely have a more upmarket cabin with better materials and more goodies. The engines and gearboxes will be essentially carried over from the Passat, and most likely VW will decide to go only with the top-spec units.

Following its premiere in March 2017 at the Geneva Motor Show, the VW Arteon will go on sale in the summer.
