Alfa Romeo is finally announcing pricing in the United States for its long-anticipated Giulia sedan, and the Italian four-door arrives a base cost at $38,990 (after $995 destination). The TI (Turismo Internazionale) sits in the middle of the lineup at $40,990, and this pair of trims comes to dealers in January 2017. Customers can add the Q4 all-wheel-drive system to them for an extra $2,000. The range-topping Quadrifoglio starts at $73,595 (after $1,595 destination) and is available in December.
Both the standard Giulia and TI have a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 280 horsepower (209 kilowatts) and 306 pound-feet (415 Newton-meters) of torque that get them to 60 miles per hour (97 kilometers per hour) in 5.1 seconds. The Quadrifoglio uses a 505-hp (377-kW) 2.9-liter biturbo V6 that can sprint to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
Even base models come with luxury appointments like a leather interior, 10-way power seats, 6.5-inch infotainment system, and bi-xenon headlights. A Sport Exterior Package for $1,250 adds more aggressive front and rear fascias, 18-inch wheels, black window trim, and colored brake calipers.
Spending the extra cash on the TI adds wood interior trim, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an 8.8-inch infotainment system. A Performance Package adds an adaptive suspension and limited-slip differential.
As the range-topper, the Quadrifoglio has even more performance-oriented amenities. Alfa Romeo uses carbon fiber for its active front splitter, hood, roof, and rear spoiler. The sedan also features an adaptive suspension and torque-vectoring differential. The cabin mixes luxury and sportiness by combining a leather-wrapped dashboard, sport seats, and carbon fiber trim. Carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo are an additional option, and they weigh half as much as the standard parts. Customers can also order carbon fiber seats from Sparco that offer even better side support.
