劳斯莱斯计划于2018年推出库里南SUV，最近谍照记者在慕尼黑开放路面拍到了正在测试的原型车。这辆车当时进行了重度伪装，但仍可看出它采用了劳斯莱斯风格的前脸，垂直镀铬装饰条，雕刻感轮拱和更大进气口。不过车尾造型看起来仍处于研发早期阶段。这款车将在大街上一直测试到年底，随后将在北极圈进行寒冷气候测试。明年晚些时候将前往中东沙漠进行耐久性和炎热气候测试，2018年首次亮相。除了棱角分明的外观设计，这款车采用的新的铝制框架平台也将应用于下一代幻影，后者也将采用向后开启后车门。该车动力系统为动力更强劲的6.75升V12引擎，未来还将增加混动和电动车版本。目前还不清楚该车价格，但预计将在六位数字。库里南直接竞争车型是宾利添越，未来还有兰博基尼SUV.

 

Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV caught testing for the first time

Rolls-Royce is nearly ready to reveal its first ever SUV – or as engineers like to call it, an "all-terrain, high-sided vehicle." The appropriately-named Cullinan is expected to make its debut sometime in 2018, but not before we catch a few candids of the prototype testing on public roads in Munich.

 

Seen here wearing a heavy amount of camouflage, the new spy shots show off even more of the Rolls-Royce-esque fascia than ever before; vertical chrome inserts, chiseled fenders, and large intake vents dominate the design. We also get our first glimpse at the rear – though, from what we can tell, it looks to still be in the early stages of development.

 

Project Cullinan will continue testing throughout the year on public roads before it makes its way up to the Arctic Circle for cold-weather evaluations beginning in December. Later in 2017, it will head to the deserts of the Middle East for durability and hot-weather testing before its debut in 2018.

 

Aside from the angular design, we do know that the Rolls SUV will ride on the same new aluminum spaceframe platform that will underpin the next Phantom – it will have the signature coach doors too. Power will come initially from a more powerful version of the company’s signature 6.75-liter V12, with hybrid and EV variants expected to follow.

 

No word on pricing just yet, but expect it to be in the mid-six-figure range, per any good Rolls. The Cullinan will compete directly with the new Bentley Bentayga, and eventual Lamborghini SUV when it debuts.
