欧洲大型SUV销量创新高，今年前九个月销量同比增长三分之一。JATO Dynamics公布的数据显示，今年前九个月，欧洲大型高端SUV销量185000辆。其中沃尔沃XC90是同级车型中最大赢家，销量同比增长163%至26860辆，主要是由于车厂去年底推出了其第二代车型。不过，沃尔沃只能算是第二的位置。位居第一的宝马X5销量为28601辆，但增幅只有1%，是十大品牌中增幅垫底的车型。JATO预计到年底，沃尔沃销量就将超过宝马。老古董车型市场表现也很不错，路虎发现同比销量增长27%。路虎三款车型，包括揽胜、揽胜运动版和发现销量都进入前十名，总计销量44131辆。有趣的是，搭载四缸引擎的车型销量增长了77%，这主要归功于XC90，该车只提供四缸引擎。不过，六缸车型仍占据最大份额，销量为119463辆。而插电混动车销量出现大幅增长，增幅达到299%。德国的大型SUV销量超过欧洲其他国家，总计为52674辆，英国为43798辆。

 

Big, posh SUV sales heading for a record year in Europe

Sales of big, posh SUVs are running at record levels in Europe, growing by one third through the end of September.

 

Data released by market researcher JATO Dynamics shows that 185,000 large premium SUVs were sold across Europe in the nine months to the end of September.

 

The Volvo XC90 was the big winner in the segment, sales growing a massive 163 percent over the same period last year to 26,860, thanks to the introduction of the second-generation model towards the end of 2015.

 

The Swede moves up to second place on the best-seller chart, behind the BMW X5 on 28,601 sales. But that number represents growth of only one percent, among the lowest rates in the top ten. As a result, JATO predicts that the Volvo will have overtaken the BMW by the end of the year.

 

Sales of the ancient-but-still-awesome Land Rover Discovery also grew by 27 percent. Land Rover leads the sector overall, all three of its contenders - Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Discovery - making the top ten. Combined, their sales totaled 44,131.

 

Interestingly, sales of cars with four-cylinder engines jumped by 77 percent over the period. That is mostly thanks to the XC90, which is sold exclusively with four-pot motors. However, six-cylinder engines still account for biggest chunk of sales by far, at 119,463 units.

 

But sales of plug-in hybrid models show the biggest growth by far, increasing 299 percent.

 

Germany bought more large premium SUVs than any other European nation, paying out for 52,674 of them. The UK was second on 43,798.
