最近谍照记者再次在德国纽伯格林赛道拍到了正在测试的宝马X3 M。这次拍到的车辆伪装更少一些，而它的性能已经升级到极致。首先引起记者注意的是它的声音，虽然无法证实，但有传言称该车搭载了一台性能更强劲的3.0升TwinPower六缸涡轮引擎。为了与保时捷Macan Turbo、奔驰-AMG GLC63等车型竞争，预计该车重量将降低100公斤，功率在298千瓦/450马力之上。这足以使该车0-96公里/小时加速时间控制在4.0秒左右。该车前脸更具侵略性，底部格栅两侧是硕大进气口。车身侧面可以看到新的侧裙，在硕大合金轮圈里面是高性能制动系统，车尾可以看到后扰流器下面伸出了四个排气尾管。与其他M版车型一样，该车悬挂也进行了大幅调整以便提升操控性。宝马明年发布新款X3之后就能看到M版车型首次亮相。紧随其后的是年底亮相的X4 M轿跑车。

We’re so close to the arrival of a new BMW X3 M, we can almost taste it. Ok, maybe not that close. We’ve caught the high-performance SUV a bunch of times on the Nurburgring, and just as many times on public roads in Germany.

 

Spotted testing at the Nurburgring yet again, the X3 M prototype is seen here wearing healthy amount of camouflage pushing its performance upgrades to the limit. And from what we can tell (and hear), it looks like it’s going to be quite the little performer.

 

Immediately noticeable is the sound. While not yet confirmed, rumors point to a more powerful version of the 3.0-liter TwinPower turbo six-cylinder engine under the hood. In order to compete with the Porsche Macan Turbo, Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and others, it’s expected to lose about 220 pounds (100 kilograms) and pump out north of 450 horsepower (298 kilowatts). That should be more than enough to propel it to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in about 4.0 seconds.

 

Up front, the fascia gets significantly more aggressive with the addition of a lower vent to accent the double kidney grille. Behind those big alloy wheels are a set of performance brakes, while out back a quad-exhaust system peers out from a rear spoiler and new side skirts. Like any good M car, the suspension has been heavily tuned to handle the added oomph.

 

Soon after the arrival of the updated X3 early in 2017, we should see the mighty M version make its debut. Following the arrival of the X3 M, the X4 M 'Coupe' is rumored to make its debut towards the end of the year.
