长安品牌乘用车2016年销量达128万辆，同比增长27.6%。“产能不足”已经成为这几年困扰长安的“烦恼”。长安此前投资33.7亿元在重庆建设整车工厂，配套发动机工厂也在布局中。网上车市从长安汽车(000625,股吧)官方获悉： 长安将斥资39.48亿元用于《H系列五期、NE1系列一期发动机生产能力建设项目》，其中NE1系列发动机为长安最新自主研发的发动机。据长安汽车最新公告显示：关于H系列五期、NE1系列一期发动机生产能力建设项目，将新增建设投资39.48亿元（含外汇2.30亿美元），新增铺底流动资金1.37亿元。长安汽车官方表示：该项目的建设有助于优化发动机产能结构，未来整车产能匹配。H系列为长安乘用车主力机型，包含1.1－1.6L几个排量，目前开发出的几款均为直列4缸、16气门、全铝发动机，拥有完全自主知识产权。CS35搭载全新一代Blue Core高效1.6L发动机就是H系列发动机中的一款产品。CS75等车型上搭载的1.5T涡轮增发动机也是其中之一。NE1系列是长安下一代发动机，由长安英国研发中心开发。长安英国研发中心副总经理张晓宇此前向网上车市表示：“NE1发动机平台，详细设计已完成，进入样机制造和测试阶段”。

 

Changan Auto invests RMB 4b to expand engine factory

Changan passenger vehicles sell 1.28m units in 2016 with a growth of 27.6%. Lack of capacity has been a bottleneck which hinders Changan’s developments in recent years. Previously, Changan invested RMB 3.37b in Chongqing to construct vehicle factory and prepare for the engine factory. Official news come out that Changan will invest RMB 3.95b in H-series 5-stage, NE1-series 1-stage engine capacity construction project, in which NE1-series engines are the latest independently-developed products. Changan Auto made official announcement that the construction of project will help to optimize engine capacity structure and satisfy future capacity need.

 

H-series, main models for Changan passenger vehicles, contain several displacements from 1.1L to 1.6L. The current developed types are all inline four cylinder aluminum engines with 16 valves, owning fully independent intellectual property rights. CS35 equipped with the new-generation Blue Core highly efficient 1.6L engine is just one type of the H-series engines. The 1.5T turbo engine in CS75 is another type.

 

NE1-series is the next generation engine developed by Changan UK R&D center. Zhang Xiaoyu, Vice General manager of Changan UK R&D center once said that, “The detailed design of NE1 engine platform has been completed. We are entering into a manufacturing and testing period.”
