斯柯达Yeti于2013年首次导入国内，由上汽大众（当时叫上海大众）国产。如今，第一代国产Yeti已经“服役”近四年的时间，即将进行换代。斯柯达内部人士透露：全新一代Yeti将很快进行全球首发，最快有望于2018年国产上市。新车上市后，斯柯达在中国市场的SUV战略将得到进一步强化。Yeti定位于小型SUV，是斯柯达目前在国内唯一一款在售SUV车型。根据此前消息，新一代斯柯达Yeti将采用来自VisionS概念车的设计灵感，并基于大众MQB平台打造。此外，斯柯达内部人士还透露，Yeti有望在今年9月份举办的法兰克福车展前进行全球首发。新一代斯柯达Yeti将汲取来自VisionS概念车和柯迪亚克SUV的设计元素，相较现款车型，新车的外形将发生明显的变化。新车的车身设计与全新途观车型接近，前脸和尾部造型则将保留斯柯达的家族式风格。动力配置方面，它将搭载多款不同规格的发动机，包括1.0升至2.0升的三缸或四缸引擎。同时，新车还将配备6速手动或7速双离合自动变速箱。全新Yeti依旧以前驱为主导，高配版本将搭载全时四驱系统。除常规版车型之外，斯柯达全新一代Yeti还有望推出多款衍生车型，这其中预计将包含插电混动和纯电动。

 

Skoda New Yeti debuts,to be launched domestically in 2018

Skoda Yeti was firstly introduced into domestic market in 2013 and produced by SAIC Volkswagen. News comes around that the new generation Yeti will make global debut recently, and it is expected to be launched in 2018. Then Skoda’s domestic SUV strategy is further strengthened.

 

Positioned as a small-size SUV, Yeti is Skoda’s only domestic on-sale SUV model. According to previous news, the new Yeti will adopt the designing concept from VisionS concept car and will be built on Volkswagen MQB platform. Besides, Yeti is expected to make its global debut before the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

 

Obvious changes will take place on the new vehicle’s exterior appearance. The body design is similar to New Tuguan, while its front face and tail shape will preserve Skoda’s family design.

 

The new vehicle will equip with engines of different types, including the 1.0T to 2.0T three or four cylinder engines. In the meantime, the new model will equip 6-speed MT or 7-speed DSG. Apart from the regular model, Skoda New Yeti may also launch many derivative models, including the PHEV and BEV ones.
