3月27日，广汽集团董事会发布公告，子公司广汽乘用车新增年产20 万辆新能源汽车扩能项目获全票通过，该项目总投资 46.94 亿元。公告称通过新能源车扩能项目的实施，能显著提高广汽集团的新能源汽车建设能力，完善自主品牌产品结构，提高自主品牌的综合竞争力，对自主品牌的发展和广汽集团经营业绩将起到促进作用。广汽传祺在自主品牌中脱颖而出的时间并不久远，但是在新能源汽车领域的布局并不算晚，而且一直在加持新能源汽车的发展。如果把2014年看做新能源汽车迅速发展的元年，广汽集团则在2015年就将新能源视作未来发展的重点方向，并且计划在5年内投入20亿打造新能源车产品的规划，其中，广汽传祺被作为规划中的实力担当。随着政府在新能源汽车方面的布局愈加清晰，广汽集团对新能源汽车的发展也进入全面提速阶段。2016年广汽集团成立了“广州汽车集团乘用车有限公司新能源分公司”，以加大对新能源市场的投入；同年，计划非公开发行不超过150亿元（约22亿美元）的股票，以资助新能源汽车和自主品牌板块的发展。2017年3月8日，广汽集团发布公告称，拟发起30亿汽车创新基金，投向新能源汽车、智能网联汽车和其他项目。传祺基于插电式PHEV、纯电动EV、混合动力HEV三大新能源平台推出多款车型，GA5 PHEV已经推出，未来还将有7款新车陆续上市。。其中推出包括GA3S PHEV、GS4 PHEV、GA6 PHEV三款插电式混合动力车型。纯电动车型包括GS4 EV、EV Coupe、以及即将上市的传祺GE3三款。
GAC invests 4.694bn in new energy vehicles project
The GAC Motors’ project on increasing annual new energy cars production to 200 thousand unit has been approved on March 27th by Guangzhou Automobile Group board and the automaker will invest 4.69bn RMB in the project. The car maker reported to improve its new energy cars manufacturing capability,optimize the product structure of the band and enhance GAC Motors’ overall competitiveness by the implementation of the project,which is believed to promote the development both of the subsidiary and GAC.
It is not a long time since GAC Trumpchi stands out among the self-independent brands but it did make an early start and continue its efforts in developing new energy vehicles.If we take 2014 as the beginning year of the rapid growth of new energy vehicles, then we could see that in 2015 GAC has already listed the new energy vehicles on the top of their agenda and made a plan to invested 2bn to develop the new energy vehicles in 5 years.GAC Trumpchi plays big here.
As the government became more clear in the arrangement of the new energy vehicles, GAC accelerated its progress. In 2016, GAC founded the GAC Motor NEV subsidiarity to advance its investment in the growing market and planned to issued 15bn non-public offerings to fund the new energy vehicles and self-independent brand. On March the 8th this year,the automaker said to initiate a 3bn auto innovation fund for the key parts of new energy vehicles and connected cars and other services.
Based on the three PHEV, EV and HEV platform,Trumchi is to roll out several models.While the Trumpchi GA5 PHEV has already made its debut ,about its seven siblings are to come into the market in the future including three phevs (GA3S PHEV,GS4 PHEV and GA6 PHEV) ,three evs(GS4 EV,EV coupe and GE3 and one hev(GA8 HEV).
