宝沃第二款SUV产品BX5已经于3月24日正式公布了售价，加上去年4月份上市的BX7，宝沃汽车登陆中国市场短短1年时间，已成功收获近50,000台销量订单，经销商签约建店超过160家。为进一步丰富自身汽车产品品种， 宝沃汽车计划在密云工厂原用地范围内对生产线及公用设施进行适应性改造。新项目将在现有18万辆/年的基础上，新增18万辆的产品产能。这部分产能将全部用于新能源汽车。目前，整个汽车行业中出现的一个大趋势就是电动出行，德国宝沃汽车集团管理委员会主席及全球CEO华立新（Ulrich Walker）先生确信宝沃的电动汽车在未来一定会取得成功。 正在建设中的不莱梅工厂，将为欧洲市场生产新能源汽车。随后，宝沃将以德国为中心，通过新能源汽车激活欧洲市场。所以，推出新能源产品对宝沃而言是至关重要的一步。此外，中国市场也将同步引进新能源产品。 在4月19日开幕的上海车展期间，宝沃汽车新能源概念车型将与BX7、BX5同台亮相，标志着宝沃汽车正式拉开新能源战略的序幕。 基于这款概念车打造的量产版车型，预计将是BX7 EV纯电动版。这款纯电动车就将在密云工厂进行投产。BX7 EV将采用宝沃自主研发的e-Propulsion系统，搭载一台电动机，续航里程能达到250公里。e-Propulsion系统采用高度弹性模块化设计，发动机、电动机、电池等皆可根据需求灵活调整，延伸发展出PHEV（插电混动）、EV（纯电动）车型。除此之外，宝沃还将基于BX5推出一款插电混动版车型。
Borgward Beijing Factory Expands Capacity of 180,000 Units for Alternative Energy Vehicles
Borgward’s second SUV product BX5 released its sales price on March, 24th. Borgward has received 50,000 sales orders in the past one year with its two SUV products BX5 and BX7. Number of dealerships has exceeded 160.
To further enrich its product varieties, Borgward Auto plans to construct reform on its production lines and public equipment Miyun Factory district. It’s learned that the new project will increase annual capacity of 180,000 units to a number of 360,000 units. The newly added capacity will all be used to produce alternative energy vehicles.
Ulrich Walker, Global CEO of Borgward Group, believes that Borgward’s electric vehicles will make success in the future. Its Bremen factory will produce alternative energy vehicles for European market. Later, Borgward will make German as center to open European market through alternative energy vehicles. Therefore, the launch of alternative energy vehicles is an important step for Borgward.
Besides, alternative energy vehicles will be introduced into Chinese market at the same time. Borgward Auto alternative energy Concept model will made debut with BX7, BX5 on Shanghai Auto Show on April 19th, marking the beginning of Borgward’s alternative energy strategy. It’s predicted that BX7 EV BEV model will be made based on the above concept model. The BEV model will be produced in Miyun Factory.
BX7 EV will adopt the e-Propulsion system independently researched by Borgward, equipping with an engine with range of 250 KM. The e-Propulsion system will use a highly elastic modular design, with adjustable engines, motor and batteries. PHEV and EV models based on EX7 will also be launched later. Besides, Borgward will launch a PHEV model on BX5.
