雷克萨斯目前拥有4款SUV车型，覆盖中型至大型市场。此前，雷克萨斯发布了一款定位为小型城市SUV车型，将弥补该细分市场空白。网上车市从国家专利局获得了一组雷克萨斯UX的图片，整体延续概念车设计，但在侧面及尾部细节上进行优化。新车将于明年正式上市，与奥迪Q3等同级车展开竞争。雷克萨斯UX前脸进气格栅沿用纺锤式家族设计，作为一款小型SUV，更多采用了夸张激进的设计元素，给人视觉上的冲击感。UX充斥着诸多凌厉的“箭头”元素，中网既是如此，头灯组也由大箭头与三个小箭头组成。新车侧面造型中，后视镜设计在前风挡玻璃上，采用两条金属合并的手法，且其中还安有摄像头。新车相比概念车长度增加，第二排车门有所更改。后翼子板处采用了外扩设计，配合短小的车尾，让整车看起来更加动感。UX所装配的21寸轮毂很显宽大，内部条辐较多。“U”形LED尾灯与概念车相比位置下移，另外后保险杠样式也小幅改动。目前雷克萨斯在售的中型SUV NX售价31.8万起售，小型SUV-UX起售价有望下探至25万元。未来新车推出后，将与奥迪Q3等同级车展开竞争。进口奥迪Q3市场售价37.70-42.88万元，雷克萨斯UX起售价格优势明显。
