广汽集团6月5日发布公告称，第四届董事会第 47 次会议审议通过了《关于设立广汽新能源汽车有限公司的议案》，同意广汽新能源汽车有限公司项目设立方案。根据方案，广汽集团将投资6亿元，设立全资子公司广汽新能源汽车有限公司（暂定名）。同时公告显示，其中首期注册资本3亿元，后续资金根据项目需要增资解决；同时批准向广州汽车集团乘用车有限公司增资22.64亿元专项用于自主品牌乘用车新增20万辆/年新能源汽车产能扩建项目建设，其余资金由本公司统筹考虑。
GAC invests to establish GAC New Energy Automotive Co. Ltd.
It’s known that GAC Group passed resolutions at the 47th meeting of the fourth session of the Board of Directors on June 5th. Resolution on establishing GAC New Energy Automotive Co. Ltd. was passed to set up project on establishing GAC New Energy.
According to the plan, GAC will invest RMB 600m to establish the wholly-owned subsidiary GAC New Energy Automotive Co. Ltd. The initial registered capital would be RMB 300m.
In the meantime, an increasing capital of RMB 2.26b would be used to expand an annual capacity of 200,000 units for GAC Motor. It’s known that GAC Motor would launch nine new Trumpchi models, including three alternative energy models of GE3 BEV crossover, GS4 PHEV and GA6 PHEV. According to plan, GAC Group would reach an annual capacity of 200,000 units for alternative energy vehicles by the year of 2020.
