观致汽车是奇瑞集团的中高端品牌，目前拥有观致3和观致5两个车系共5款车型在售，2016年共销售了2.4万辆。网通社从观致汽车内部人士获悉，其将推出“Model Young”副品牌，采用与奇瑞共享的平台技术，并将在今年内推出一款全新SUV和一款纯电动轿车。观致将推出入门副品牌“Model Young”，其定位低于目前在售的车款，目标群体是年轻消费者。Model Young系列是观致品牌与奇瑞品牌共享平台技术后生产的车型，未来将覆盖轿车、SUV及电动车领域。观致全新SUV与奇瑞瑞虎7共享平台，前脸设计几乎全部推倒重来，融入观致家族式设计理念，保险杠采用全新设计，下方银色护板显示出一些Cross车型的跨界风格。在动力上，新车将搭载1.5TCI发动机，匹配6速手动或6速双离合变速箱。另据了解，新车将于今年8月开幕的成都车展中正式发布。除SUV外，观致还规划了一款纯电动轿车。新车前脸设计与奇瑞艾瑞泽5e较为接近。动力方面新车将搭载一台最大功率为90千瓦的永磁同步电机，综合续航里程达到较为出色的350公里。此外，新车配备了旋钮式电子挡杆、手机映射、远程遥控充电等配置。据了解，新车有望于今年12月量产并投放市场。在此前奇瑞透露的发展规划中，未来将推出A3X、M1X、T1X和M3X四大平台，其中上文所述的观致电动轿车就是由其中的T1X平台研发而来；观致全新小型SUV则开发自T1X平台。此外奇瑞汽
车副总经理、上海研发中心负责人白雷蒙曾表示：“M3X平台将是奇瑞跨品牌布局战略的重点。”这也就是说，我们将有望看到出自M3X平台的观致品牌车型。
Qoros will make a low-price brand, sharing the same platform with Chery
As the middle-and-high-end brand in Chery Group, Qoros Auto has five models on sale including Qoros 3 and Qoros 5. The total sales volume reaches 24,000 units in 2016. It’s learned from insiders that Qoros will launch a sub-brand “Model Young”, sharing the same platform technologies with Chery. Besides, it will also launch a new SUV and a new BEV car this year.
The entry-level brand “Model Young” is set at a lower price compared with the current models, targeting at young customers. It will cover cars, SUV models and electric vehicles in the future.
Qoros new SUV shares the same platform with Tiggo 7, with the newly-designed front face combining with Qoros’s family style. The bumper uses the new design, showing some crossover style from Cross models in the bottom silver shield. The new model will equip with 1.5TCT engines, equipping with 6-speed MT or dual-clutch transmission. It’s learned that the new model will be officially launched in Chengdu Auto Show this August.
Qoros also plans for a BEV car model, with similar front face design with Arrizo 5e. The model will equip with a PMSM with the maximum power of 90 KW, with range of 350 kilometers. Besides, the new model equips with knob-type electronic lever, mobile phone mapping, remote control charging and other equipments. It’s known that the new model will be put into mass production this December and launched into market.
It’s learned that four major platforms including A3X, M1X, T1X and M3X will be launched in the future. Qoros BEV car is researched on T1X platform, and its new small-size SUV is developed on T1X platform. Bai Leimeng, Vice General Manger of Qoros Auto and person in charge of Shanghai R&D center, once said that, “M3X platform is the key point for Chery’s trans-brand strategy in the future.” We will see more Qoros models based on M3X platform in the future.
