备受期待的宝马8系亮相时间正在进一步临近，8系轿跑车和迄今并未确定推出的敞篷车，这两款车的合成图都已经在其正式亮相前曝光。8系轿跑车多个设计元素取自最初的概念车，其中包括大幅倾斜引擎盖和侵略性前脸。整体来看，新车外观更低调，更接近量产版。8系敞篷车合成图也遵循了相同路线，只是拿掉了车顶。车头的双肾格栅仍保留，还有低垂的散热孔以及两侧的两个小散热孔让前脸造型看起来更顺滑，更具雕刻感。整体来看，8系轿跑车是一款造型突出的轿跑车，某些设计灵感来自6系轿跑车。目前还不清楚8系发布时间，但预计量产版将于明年发布，随后将于年底前上市。该车动力系统目前还不清楚，但宝马表示，该车平台可支持各种引擎，从2.0升四缸到6.6升V12涡轮增压引擎。无论搭载何种引擎，8系车都将是一款非常突出的运动车型。另外，目前已经知道8系将提供后排座椅。除了8系标准版，宝马还将推出动力更强劲M8，目前该车已经开始在纽伯格林赛道测试。现在还不清楚8系车的价格。
BMW 8 Series Coupe, Cabrio Renderings Look Ready For Production
The long-anticipated BMW 8 Series is nearly here. The BMW 8 Series, and the yet-to-be-confirmed 8 Series convertible, have both been rendered ahead of an official debut. The coupe draws a number of similarities with the original concept, including the sloped hood and the aggressive fascia. Overall, the package gets a more subdued look, ready for the production line.
The 8 Series convertible rendering uses nearly all of the same lines, but does away with the roof, naturally. The kidney grilles remain, and a lower vent, flanked by two smaller vents gives the fascia a smooth, sculpted design. Overall, the 8 Series promises to be a dramatic-looking coupe, with some inspiration from the 6 Series coupe before it.
It’s still unclear exactly when the new 8 Series will make its debut, but expect to see a production version sometime in 2018, with sales starting later that same year. Powertrain options also remain a mystery, but BMW says that the platform will be able to support a variety of engine options, ranging from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, to a turbocharged 6.6-liter V12.
Whatever the engine, we know for sure that the 8 Series "will be a very sport car," promised Adrian van Hooydonk, Design Director at BMW Group. We also know that the 8 Series will feature a backseat, albeit a cramped one. Following the standard 8 Series’ debut in 2018, a more powerful M8 – which we’ve also seen testing on the Nürburgring – will also make its debut. No word on pricing or availability on either models just yet.
