大陆集团日前宣布，欧洲境外首条涡轮增压器生产线在中国上海嘉定落成。大陆集团嘉定工厂现约有1600名员工，建有含ABS系统在内的多条产品生产线。嘉定工厂于今年11月开始生产RAAX涡轮增压器，此款产品由大陆集团研发，并于2016年在率先欧洲投产，主要应用于大众集团旗下奥迪A3系汽车所搭载的EA888Gen.3B发动机平台。在中国市场，大众途昂SUV车型将率先搭载此款2.0升涡轮增压汽油发动机，大众途观和其他大排量车型将紧随其后。同时，大陆集团已积极布局下一轮的扩张。大陆集团预计将于2018年在墨西哥圣路易斯波托西建立另一家RAAX涡轮增压器生产基地。大陆集团自2011年起正式进入涡轮增压器市场。打入涡轮增压器市场后，大陆集团在短短的时间内获得了市场的认可。径流式涡轮增压器是目前最常用的一种汽油涡轮增压器，其特点是排气流径向流入涡轮机叶轮，而大陆集团的新款涡轮增压器独创了径轴向流动，这也是RAAX名称的由来。
Continental begins to produce turbochargers in China
A few days ago Continental AG announced that the first turbocharger production line outside Europe was completed in Shanghai Jiading District. There are about 1600 employees in Jiading factory, which has a number of production lines including ABS system.
Jiading factory started production of RAAX turbocharger in November this year, developed by Continental AG, the product was firstly put into production in European in 2016 and has been used in the Volkswagen Group's Audi A3 series EA888 Gen.3B engine platform. This new technology can effectively improve the response speed and efficiency of the engine.In China market, the turbocharger will be used in VW Teramont, followed by VW Tiguan and other big engines.
At the same time, Continental AG has been actively planning the next round of expansion. Continental AG is expected to establish another RAAX turbocharger production base in Mexico San Luis Potosi in 2018.Since 2011, Continental AG officially entered the turbocharger market. After that, the group gained market recognition in a short period of time.
Radial turbocharger is a common gasoline turbocharger, which is characterized by the exhaust gas flow radial inflow turbine impeller, and new turbocharger can achieve diameter axial flow, which also is the origin of the name of RAAX.
