雷克萨斯UX亮相日内瓦车展

雷克萨斯紧凑型豪华跨界车阵容将得到进一步扩大,近日UX准量产版跨界车亮相日内瓦车展。UX车头采用了家族标志性的纺锤格栅,车身造型也非常锐利。车身同宽尾灯组取自先前发布的概念车,使车尾造型看起来更独特,尾灯组内配备了不少于120个独立的LED光源。该车还可配备专门为该车开发的17/18英寸合金轮圈,其造型专门经过风洞测试以强化车身侧面气流。车厂宣称,该车的转向半径达到同级车型领先的10.3米,同时这款车也是首款采用新的GA-C平台的车型。新的内部结构使该车具备同级车最佳低重心设计,这有助于进一步提升蜿蜒路面操控性。UX长度接近4.5米,轴距2.63米。虽然内装设计不像外观那么前卫,但也很独特。车厂宣称,该车内部设计源自日本传统,可选装真皮内饰。该车动力系统为一台新的2.0升四缸汽油引擎,功率168马力,其热效率约为40%,搭配车厂开发的新的CVT变速器。另有一款UX250h混动版功率176马力,该车还搭载了一台后置电机并提供全轮驱动。当车载电脑和传感器感知到后轮抓地力丧失后,可在车速70公里以下时将最多80%动力传递至后轮。而FSport版本不仅外观更具侵略性,而且增加了更多内装,硬件也获得改进。该车的悬挂进行了专门的调校,甚至可提供LC的自适应可变悬挂以便在车辆改变车道和转向时将车身晃动降至最低。在日内瓦车展亮相后,雷克萨斯将于今秋开始量产UX,随后该车将于12月在美国上市。
 
Lexus UX Lands In Geneva With Bold Design, New Platform
The compact luxury crossover segment is ready to expand with yet another new member as Lexus has revealed the production-ready UX at the Geneva Motor Show.
 
The corporate spindle grille is big (maybe too big?) and certainly imposing, allowing the UX to make an impression on the road – also helped by the sharp bodywork. The full-width taillights inherited from the concept play their part in making the UX look unique and come fitted with no less than 120 individual LEDs. Fresh 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels created specifically for the crossover further contribute to the bold styling and have been tweaked in the wind tunnel to enhance airflow.
 
There’s more to the UX than its look-at-me appearance as Lexus is proud to announce its new high-riding offering has a segment-leading turning circle of 34 feet (10.3 meters) and is the first model to ride on the company’s new GA-C platform. The new underpinnings have contributed to the vehicle’s best-in-class lowest center of gravity, which should help with handling especially on twisty roads. If you’re wondering about its size, the UX is 177 inches (nearly 4.5 meters) long and part of that is a 103.9-inch (2.63-meter) wheelbase.
 
The interior might not be able to match the avant-garde design of the body, but it still feels quite special and is a breath of fresh air in this challenging segment. Lexus says it has taken inspiration from Japanese tradition and you can see that in the optional leather upholstery with cues from sashiko, a customary Japanese quilting technique also used for judo and kendo martial arts uniforms.
 
In regards to the oily bits, the UX 200 will be powered by a new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine delivering 168 horsepower and benefitting from a thermal efficiency of around 40 percent. Output is channeled to the road via a direct-shift continuously variable transmission (CVT), also a new development from Lexus.
 
Those willing to step up to the UX 250h model will be rewarded not only with a hybrid powertrain rated at a slightly higher 176-hp estimated combined output, but also with an all-wheel-drive system as a result of implementing a rear-mounted electric motor. Whenever the onboard computers and sensors detect a loss of grip at the rear axle, 80% of the total power is automatically distributed to the rear wheels when the vehicle is travelling at speeds of up to 43 mph (70 kph).
 
The F Sport model adopts a slightly more aggressive design and some interior extras, but also some hardware changes. There’s a bespoke suspension tuning and you can even have it with the LC’s Adaptive Variable Suspension engineered to minimize roll whenever changing lanes or cornering.
Following its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Lexus will start production of the UX this fall and is going to have the compact crossover on sale in the United States from December.
