根据本田中国公司发布的数据，8月份本田在华累计终端销117188辆，同比下跌9.9%。今年前八个月累计销量832248辆，同比下降7.1%。广汽本田8月销量下降2.7%至58613辆，今年前八个月累计销量下降0.4%。本田品牌销量57953辆，下降1.6%。最畅销的缤智8月销量下降3.5%至13510辆。雅阁销量增长16.6%至12445辆。不过，八月锋范、凌派、缤智和管道销量均有不同程度的下降，因此拖累了整体销量的下滑。高端品牌讴歌销量持续下降，8月销量仅为660辆，同比下降51.9%。东风本田8月销量下降16.1%至58575辆。今年前八个月累计销量381402辆，同比下降13.9%。东风本田除了思域和艾力绅，绝大多数车型8月均出现下降。第二畅销车型CR-V同比下降16.1%至13196辆。不过，思域销量大幅增长43.1%，这在一定程度上抵消了其他车型的下降。

 

Honda China sales fall 9.9% YoY in August

Honda Motor saw its China sales drop 9.9% from the year-ago period to 117,188 units, according to the sales data released by Honda China. For the first eight months, the automaker delivered a total of 832,248 vehicles in the world’s largest auto market, a year-on-year decline of 7.1%.

 

GAC Honda suffered a slight year-on-year drop of 2.7% in August sales with 58,613 vehicles delivered. For the first eight month, the joint venture witnesses its cumulative sales edge down 0.4% compared with the same period a year ago.

 

The sales of Honda branded cars amounted to 57,953 units in total, edging down 1.6% over the previous year. The best seller was the VEZEL whose August sales slightly fell 3.5% from a year earlier to 13,510 units. The sales of the Accord, another hotter-selling model, evidently grew 16.6% to 12,445 units. However, the August sales of the City, the CRIDER, the VEZEL and the AVANCIER all presented year-on-year decrease to different degrees, which led to the downturn in overall monthly sales.

 

The premium brand Acura continued a depressed sales performance with only 660 vehicles delivered last month, a year-on-year slump of 51.9%.

 

Dongfeng Honda posted a year-on-year drop of 16.1% with 58,575 vehicles handed over in August. From January to August, the joint venture sold 381,402 vehicles with a year-on-year decline of 13.9%.

 

Apart from the CIVIC and the ELYSION, most models of Dongfeng Honda faced year-on-year reduction in August. The monthly sales of the CR-V, the second best seller, shrank 16.1% over the previous year to 13,196 units. However, the sales of the best seller CIVIC significantly jumped 43.1% from the year-ago period, which somewhat offset the overall sales downturn.
