奔驰-AMG近日发布了A354Matic高性能掀背车，这也是AMG首次推出高性能紧凑型五门掀背车。该车的车头采用双刀片式辐射进气格栅，设计十分犀利，车尾顶部采用硕大尾翼。整体外观比A级低端版本更具侵略性。车尾采用双边式圆口排气布局，在两边则布置独有的扩散器，车尾气场比它强大的只有A45和A45S。该车的核心是一台2.0升涡轮增压引擎，功率225千瓦/302马力@5800转/分，扭矩400牛米@3000转/分。搭配的七速双离合器变速器与4Matic完全可变扭矩分配全驱系统将动力传递至前后轴。该车百公里加速时间4.7秒，最高时速250公里。由于功率强劲，奔驰工程师为该车配备了前轮350毫米，后轮330毫米刹车盘。与这些通风和带有散热孔刹车盘搭配的是银色刹车卡钳，而在卡钳上显眼的刻有“AMG”字样彰显了该车与普遍版的A级掀背车的不同。这款A35不仅动力更强，而且车身刚性也获得提升，同时该车配备的七速双离合器变速器也采用了不同的齿比，油门反应更灵敏。此外，该车的前后重量分配达到最佳的50:50比例。奔驰将在10月2日开幕的巴黎车展向公众展示这款车，随后在10月底开始接受该车订单，欧洲客户交付时间为明年1月。

 

2019 Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic Goes Official With 302 Horsepower

Mercedes-AMG is ready to spice up the hot hatch game with the A35 4Matic, a feisty compact five-door model set to become the entry point into the Affalterbach family. With aero flicks up front and a big rear wing at the back, it looks substantially more aggressive than the lesser A-Class models. The diffuser insert flanked by two round exhaust tips give the car a meaner attitude that’ll only be surpassed by the A45 and A45 S models.

 

At the heart of the first-ever A35 is a newly developed turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 302 horsepower (225 kilowatts) from 5,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) accessible from 3,000 rpm. Output is channeled to both axles through a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission linking the engine to the 4Matic fully variable all-wheel-drive system.

 

Thanks to the punchy setup, Mercedes says the new member of the family needs 4.7 seconds from zero to 62 mph (100 kph) and can top out at 155 mph (250 kph), although that’s actually electronically limited. With great power comes great responsibility, which is why the engineers have fitted the A35 with beefy 350-mm front and 330-mm rear disc brakes. These ventilated and perforated discs are hugged by silver brake calipers adorned by the black “AMG” lettering to make the car stand out from the regular version of the new A-Class.

 

There’s more to the A35 than its powerful engine and larger brakes as Mercedes-AMG has also made some changes to the bodyshell to boost torsional stiffness while the aforementioned DCT 7G has different gear ratios for better throttle response. In addition, the all-paw setup varies from a FWD-only configuration to an even 50:50 distribution between the front and rear axle.

 

Mercedes-AMG will have the new A35 4Matic on display starting October 2 at the 2018 Paris Motor Show and will begin to take orders later the same month. Customer deliveries in Western Europe are programmed to kick off in January 2019.
