雷诺集团亚太区主席福兰在世界经济论坛2018年新领军者年会上表示,雷诺集团计划于2019年在中国市场发布其第一款国产电动车,在2022年之前将有3款电动车投入中国市场。福兰表示,雷诺电动车不仅仅是汽车,还在努力开发一个可以满足电动出行的生态系统。欧洲和中国都在大力发展电动车,并为此完善基础设施。在技术方面,雷诺将为中国消费者提供可靠的电动车产品,雷诺将以“根植中国,服务中国消费市场”这个战略为基础提供更好的服务。根据“东风雷诺2022愿景”,东风雷诺计划在2022年之前推出9款车型,其中3款是电动车。此外,雷诺和日产去年8月宣布与东风汽车成立合资公司易捷特来开发电动车,以满足消费者的期待。它将与雷诺日产联盟和东风共同开发A级SUV平台。更重要的是,去年12月成立的华晨雷诺金杯汽车有限公司专注于生产轻型商用车,雷诺和华颂品牌计划到2022年实现年销量15万辆的目标,这两个品牌也将电动化作为重要发展战略。
Groupe Renault to launch first China-made EV model in 2019
Groupe Renault is scheduled to launch the first China-made EV model in the world largest auto market next year and will roll out 3 new EV models there by 2022, according to a statement delivered by Fran?ois Provost, chairman of the group's Asian Pacific Region, at the Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum.
“Renault is striving to develop an EV mobility ecosystem more than purely manufacturing EVs. Both Europe and China are committed to developing their EV industry and improving related infrastructures. On the technology side of things, Renault will work on providing Chinese consumers with reliable EV products and superior services based on the strategy of ‘gaining footing in China to serve Chinese market’,” said Provost.
Dongfeng Renault (DRAC), the joint venture (JV) between Dongfeng Motor Group (Dongfeng) and Groupe Renault, plans to roll out 9 new models by 2022, including 3 EV models, based on the “DRAC Vision 2022” Strategy.
The Renault-Nissan Alliance and Dongfeng announced on August 29 a new JV to co-develop and sell EVs in China. The new JV, eGT New Energy Automotive Co., Ltd, will design a new EV with intelligent interconnectivity that will be in line with the expectations of Chinese customers. It will be jointly developed by the Alliance and Dongfeng on an A-segment SUV platform of the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
Moreover, the French automaker and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited (Brilliance) jointly formed Renault-Brilliance-Jinbei Automotive Co., Ltd. last December to manufacture and sell light commercial vehicles (LCV) under the Jinbei, Renault and Huasong brands with the goal of achieving 150,000 sales annually by 2022 and an acceleration of electrifying powertrains.
