10月5日，吉利汽车发布公告称，间接拥有99%权益之附属浙江动力拟合共以12.65亿元收购两家引擎公司，而两家公司为母企浙江吉利拥有。公告显示，浙江动力与台州引擎订立台州收购协议，浙江动力已有条件同意收购，而台州引擎已有条件同意出售台州目标公司之全部注册资本，现金代价为781274109元；同日，浙江动力与贵阳发动机订立贵州收购协议，浙江动力已有条件同意收购， 而贵阳发动机已有条件同意出售贵州目标公司之全部注册资本，现金代价为484003363亿元。公告显示，浙江动力主要在国内从事引擎及其相关部件的研发、生产和销售。上述两家发动机工厂建成投产后，吉利汽车每年将新增发动机产能72万台。

 

Geely Automobile Holdings acquires two engine firms with RMB1.265 billion

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (the Company) announced on October 5 that Zhejiang Geely Dongli Zongcheng Company Limited (Zhejiang Dongli), an indirect 99% owned subsidiary of the Company, agreed to acquire two engine firms with a total of RMB1.265 billion involved.

 

The announcement shows that Zhejiang Dongli entered into an acquisition agreement with Taizhou Geely Luoyou Engines Company Limited (Taizhou Engines), pursuant to which Zhejiang Dongli conditionally agreed to acquire, and Taizhou Engines conditionally agreed to sell, the entire registered capital of the Taizhou Binhai Geely Engine Company Limited (TZ Target), for a cash consideration of RMB781,274,109.

 

On the same day, Zhejiang Dongli also entered into a similar acquisition agreement with Guiyang Geely Engines Company Limited (Guiyang Engines), pursuant to which Zhejiang Dongli conditionally agreed to acquire, and Guiyang Engines conditionally agreed to sell, the entire registered capital of Guizhou Geely Engine Company Limited (GZ Target), for a cash consideration of RMB484,003,363.

 

According to the announcement, Zhejiang Dongli is principally engaged in the research, development, production, marketing and sale of engines and related components in China. An annual capacity of 720,000 units of engines will reportedly be newly added for Geely Auto after the above two engine manufactories are completed.
