Skoda confirms next-generation Fabia will be launched this fall
Skoda has revealed some new details about their future product lineup.
In a press release detailing their 2013 Annual Report, Skoda confirmed plans to launch a new Fabia this fall. The company declined to elaborate but they have high hopes for the model as they sold 202,000 Fabias in 2013.
The press released failed to mention the next-generation Superb but Volkswagen has previously announced the model will arrive by the end of 2015.
Skoda also confirmed plans to increase their sales to 1.5 million units annually. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the company will be "introducing a new or revised model every six months on average."
Skoda went on to say they will produce an "additional" model at their Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic. The company declined to say what the model will be but previous reports have indicated it could be a crossover named the Snowman.
