The 2015 Jaguar XJR facelift has been spied up close inside and out near the Nürburgring circuit in Germany.

The Jaguar XJ facelift was caught on camera several times but only now we get to see the range-topping XJR version which will also go through a mild makeover. It comes with reworked front and rear bumpers as well as an updated front grille while on the inside it's difficult to tell whether there are any changes.

Power will likely come from the same V8 5.0-liter supercharged gasoline engine outputting 550 HP (405 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. It works with an 8-speed automatic gearbox which allows the high-performance luxury sedan to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds before hitting an electronically-capped speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).

An official reveal of the refreshed Jaguar XJ lineup will likely occur in the following months.
