西亚特已经最终决定将于2016年推出一款紧凑型跨界车。车厂首款跨界车目前已经在西班牙Martorell研究中心开发了进两年，该车将采用改进后的搭载MQB平台。这款车将标配前轮驱动并可选装全轮驱动，而动力系统预计将与Leon系统共享。虽然这是西亚特首款跨界车，但实际上，车厂从2011年就开始生产跨界车了，只不过当时是在Martorell工厂组装奥迪Q3。

 

Seat finally confirms crossover, on sale in 2016

Seat has finally confirmed intentions to introduce a compact SUV sometime in 2016.

 

The company's first ever crossover has been in development for almost two years at the Martorell facility in Spain and it will ride on a modified variant of Volkswagen Group's MQB architecture. The vehicle will be sold with a standard front-wheel drive system and an optional all-wheel drive arrangement while under the hood we expect to find just about the same engines powering the Leon lineup.

 

Although it will be the first crossover / compact SUV to wear the Seat badge, the Spanish company has been producing such a body style since 2011 when they started assembling Audi's Q3 at the aforementioned Martorell factory.
