捷豹宣布即将发布的2015款XE将搭载取自F-Type的V6引擎。这款车将宝马3系，奥迪A4和奔驰C级作为主要竞争车型。XE还衍生出一款高性能版本，它搭载了一台取自F-Type的3.0升V6引擎。虽然捷豹并未公布引擎的输出功率，但F-Type搭载的引擎功率为250千瓦/340马力，而F-Type S功率为279千瓦/380马力。搭载该引擎的车型最高时速预计可达300公里。另外XE还将搭载一台四缸2.0升柴油引擎，每公里二氧化碳排放量不到100克。XE将在今年发布，随后将于明年上市，不过V6版本不会同步推出。

 

Jaguar confirms 2015 XE will receive F-Type's V6 engine

Jaguar has announced the upcoming 2015 XE will be available with the F-Type's V6 engine.

 

Set to go up against the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Jaguar XE will also spawn a high-performance variant equipped with the 3.0-liter V6 engine taken from the F-Type. They don't say anything about a horsepower figure but we remind you in the F-Type it puts out 340 HP (250 kW) and 380 HP (279 kW) in F-Type S.

 

This engine will likely power the already confirmed range-topping version capable of doing 186 mph (300 km/h) while on the other end of the spectrum will be an economical four-cylinder 2.0-liter diesel part of the new Ingenium family allowing the XE to have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.

 

The Jaguar XE will be unveiled sometime this year before going on sale in 2015 but don't expect the V6 version to be offered from day one.
