Honda to introduce an all-new compact crossover in New York

Honda has announced plans to introduce an all-new compact crossover at the New York Auto Show.

 

The company declined to release pictures but confirmed the model will go on sale this winter. Despite the lack of details, the mysterious crossover could to be the North American version of the Vezel. Nothing is official but previous reports have indicated it could be called the HR-V in the United States.

 

There's no word on what will power the model but we wouldn't be surprised if it was offered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 130 bhp (97 kW) and 114 lb-ft (154 Nm) of torque.

 

Regardless of the final details, the crossover will be displayed alongside the 2015 Fit and the next-generation of ASIMO.
