虽然三菱蓝瑟Evolution X身上的光环即将褪尽,但最新报道指,三菱最终将推出一款高性能跨界车来替代它。三菱总裁西冈桥(osamu masuko)在接受《CarAdvice》采访时说：“SUV的定义正在逐渐发生变化。因此我可以预计，蓝瑟Evolution和SUV之间的界限正变得宽泛。”他表示，新一代蓝瑟Evolution并非三菱最优先考虑的车型，而下一代Evolution应该成为一款能满足人们需要的车型。虽然西冈桥并未透露该车细节，但国外网站报道，下一代Evo将基于新一代欧蓝德Sport / ASX，而三菱即将在北京车展发布的XR-PHEV概念车据说是下一代欧蓝德的概念版车型。
Mitsubishi Evo successor to be a crossover
The sun might be setting on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X but a new report is indicating the company could eventually introduce a high-performance crossover.
Speaking to CarAdvice, Mitsubishi President Osamu Masuko said “Gradually the definition of an SUV is changing. So I might anticipate that the borderline between Evolution and SUV might become more overarching.” Masuko went on to say a new Lancer Evolution isn't a high priority and the next Evolution model needs to be something people would actually buy.
While Masuko didn't go into specifics, the website is reporting the next-generation Evo will be based on the new Outlander Sport / ASX which was previewed by the XR-PHEV concept.
