路虎近日发布了发现Vision概念车全部细节,该车将在本周末开幕的纽约车展正式与公众见面。路虎这款发现Vision概念车与现行的发现4（LR4）有很大不。它的前后轴距相当短，侧面轮拱更突出运动风格，使整车看起来不像现行版那般粗犷，而更增添了一分精致和运动气息。该车的尾门不再采用对开式，而是以单体尾门替代，整体感更突出，同时可以使尾部储物区整体向后滑出形成一个平台。路虎拿掉了车辆的B柱，安装了对开的所谓“自杀式”车门。而车厢内采用2+3+2七座布局，第二排和第三排座椅都是独立式的，这些座椅都可以折叠放平并可前后滑动以提升车厢内空间布局的灵活性。另外，正如人们所预料的那样，车辆内装采用更多高端内饰材质和高科技装备，包括一个大型触控显示屏，它可以通过方向盘上安装的触控板进行控制。发现Vision概念车还采用了“透明引擎盖”技术，它利用安装在前格栅的摄像头拍摄前方道路并将其投射至抬头显示器上，可以让驾驶员“透过”引擎盖看到前方路况。该系统还集中了其他技术，包括激光地形扫描（利用安装在雾灯上的极光扫描器形成一个前方道路图），激光参照系统（可利用激光将前方路面的警示三角标志投射到显示器上帮助驾驶员降低车速，避免危险），另外还有下一代地形反应系统。路虎将在今年晚些时候发布全新发现以替代五座版神行者，该车与揽胜极光共享同一平台。而目前神行者七座版的替代车型也开发之中，新车或许将在2015年发布。

 

Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept goes official ahead of New York debut

Land Rover has fully revealed the Discovery Vision Concept set to make an appearance later this week at New York Auto Show.

 

Land Rover is providing a glimpse of the Discovery future with the Vision Concept which looks a lot different than the current Discovery 4 (LR4). It features considerably shorter overhangs and has a sportier profile making the model look less rugged than its predecessors. Gone is the split tailgate as this was replaced by a single tailgate which if opened will allow a platform to slide out from the load area's base within the rear bumper to create a "social seat."

 

Land Rover eliminated the B-pillars and installed suicide doors while inside there's a 2+3+2 seating arrangement with the second and third rows being independent from one another and can also be folded flat and slide fore and aft to expand the versatility of the cabin. As you would expect from a concept, the interior features lots of premium materials and high-tech goodies, including a big touchscreen display which can also be controlled by steering wheel-mounted touchpads.

 

The Discovery Vision Concept comes with a "see-through" hood encompassing cameras installed in the front grille that record footage and sent it to a head-up display allowing the driver to see what's up ahead through the hood and engine bay. It comes with a myriad of other technologies like Laser Terrain Scanning (creates a map of the road ahead using foglamp-mounted lasers), Laser Referencing (projects images on the road like warning triangles by using lasers), along with a next-gen Terrain Response system.

 

Land Rover will introduce an all-new Discovery later this year as a replacement for the five-seat Freelander and will ride on the Range Rover Evoque platform. A replacement for the seven-seat Freelander is also in the works and will come out probably in 2015.
